Rule Management Made Simple

The Rule Engine

empowers businesses to define and enforce operational rules with ease. From communication errors to voltage monitoring or motion detection, users can select pre-defined templates, set priorities, and establish criteria thresholds. Notifications are automatically triggered for violations, keeping stakeholders informed via SMS or email. This user-friendly system ensures seamless integration into organizational workflows, improving response times and operational efficiency.

1. Define Violations

In order to execute rule engine, you need to define violations with alarm, error, warning priorities

2.a. Write Rules

Rules are written using Drools Runtime Language (DRL). Each rule consists of conditions and actions that define how the engine should respond. This enables complex cases to be expressed clearly while keeping rules easy to understand and manage.

(OR) 2.b. Select From Template

Choose a rule type from predefined templates. Set the hierarchy level, criteria, thresholds, and violation type with priority. Define execution frequency, add notification recipients if needed, write the message, and save the rule.

3. Take Actions

Whenever a rule catches a situation that meets condition part of one or more rules, engine executes the action in order to create a violation record in the database, send email or SMS notification to the user.
